Question 2021 Yamaha SHO 250 Buzzing

I just got a SHO installed on my Champion and noticed something odd. Anytime the main power switch is on (ignition switch turned off) the motor has a low hum at all times. It still runs great (I haven't even finished break-in) but it seems like it would drain the battery if I were fishing. The boat shop is closed through new years and I have a tournament before they can look at it so I just want to make sure I am not going to hurt it.

Attached is a picture of the general area the sound is coming from.

That is the electronic throttle valve. It normally hums when the key is on. You will hear it cycle when the key is turned off.

Seems that somehow someway electrical power is being applied to the motor with the key off. Which I don't understand.

That's is all normal stuff. Nothing to be worried with, just the motor doing its thing, and should go away with the key off on the LA engines, or in a few seconds on the new LB engines.
