    Smile Gt36 with gt8 hw-in

If I can’t mount a gt56 on my boat and get high speed depth and have to use the combo of Gt36 and Gt8 in hull that runs through the y cable will I be able to run split screen of side vue down vue and show 2d at the same time or is it just one or the other if you can only show one at a time kind of screws the use of function of being able to show all the views on you screen. Anyone currently running this set up and could comment or if there is someone that knows for sure could you please advise will save time and money
    Thanks

I have 2 93sv plus units on console with the gt30 and gt8 and I can read both transducers on one unit and use other unit for mapping.

You don't say what unit you have but if the unit is capable of doing a 3 way screen then yes you can spit and see what you want.

Like the post above me, I also have the GT8/GT30 combo and do split screen views.

For a console Echomap Ultra 126sv I am considering going with the gt8 (in-hull) + gt36 (jack plate mount) vs. a gt56 (jack plate mount) and a separate, dedicated depth-only display with an in-hull mount (for depth at speed). Anyone with the gt8 + gt36 (or gt30) combo wish they would have done something different? I want to get this right...

I had the GT8/GT30 transducer combo for a while.....just changed out the GT30 to a GT36 and love the combo....no regrets on my end...

    Setup: 106sv with GT36 and GT8

3 way split screen options are Side vu, Traditional, Clear vu, and split frequency.

Can confirm, you are able to view Side imaging, down imaging and 2d at the same time.
