    Livescope Slow Motion

Last time I was out(3weeks ago or so) my 1222 all of a sudden went into slow motion(kind of like they all do right when they are turned on before the screen gets bright). It did this twice and lasted about 30 seconds each time. Anybody else experienced this? And fyi battery was good, should have been above 12v as this happened in the morning and Im running a 100ah lithium

I saw it one time and it was only 4 seconds for me. But my battery was low that one time. Make sure all connections are clean and tight.

Mine does it occasionally and will sometimes even reboot on its own when it happens. Definitely not a battery issue for me either as I am running and Amped 48ah higher voltage battery and never drop below 15v at the GLS10 or 1242 it runs to.

No matter what voltage your battery is you can have bad connections. May not be an issue, but it is certainly possible to have weak or intermittent connections.
Tell me where has a slow movin' once quick draw outlaw got to go

Went out Saturday and this issue was still happening, and more frequently. Talked to a guy I would consider a Garmin specialist, and he said to go back to factory default in options and this should take care of it, Im gonna try that and go from there

i do this about every 5 days on the water, even though the setting are just plus 1,2,3 minus one two three staying the same virtually i will see it not doing as good and restore livescope settings, then but them back to exactly the same as minute earlier with better image

FYI, restore factory default settings took care of the problem

For those searching archives: I followed this thread and tried to reset and everything with no luck. It would work a little bit, sometimes, and then lag and be more of a "picture" taken ever 10 seconds. At the same time auto leveling would go wonky and I would have to turn it off. One call to Garmin and they noted it was most likely a failing LVS34 and sent me out a replacement as it was under warranty.

I thought I remember maybe that if the noise reject was all the way up it might do this. Default is not high.

Yes if you have AHRS on and Noise rejection on it will lag. Also if your ground on the unit is loose it will do it as well. An occasional reset and recalibration will fix it most of the time.
