    Bad day for someone

I have seen pictures like this on the internet before but this is the first time I have actually seen it in person. The place where this impact happen is a little tricky to run but if you know where to run you can do it at wide open throttle. At summer pool there is a lot of timber just under the surface barely off the channel. If you stay in the center of the channel your fine but 25 yards right and your in the timer and 25 yards left and your on a mudflat. The water was 1 ft below summer pool when I took this picture.

On a different lake I know where there is a boulder about 10 ft wide at the base and 4 ft wide on the top. It's 8ft tall and in 9 ft of water. More than once I have seen fresh skeg marks on the rock.

Not good. Seen a pic of a stump after the water went down and had a prop stuck in it.

You can buff a long time but that won't. Used prop for sale, includes shaft, needs cleaning.

Saw one in a stump once from a ski boat. Had the entire drive shaft with it yet. IIRC when they were towing the boat back to the ramp it sunk from it pushing the prop up on impact and putting a hole in the hull

    Dang that would suck .
I was fishing Shasta lake, coming out of Pit Arm , doing about 60 when my boat kicked sideways and straightened right back up. Thought I clipped a log , Nope !
I looked back to see it was the top of pine tree, and just like that was gone. Sitting just under surface for someone else to hit.
The Pit Arm is full of timber still standing. Luckily nothing happened to my boat.

    That definitely sucks.

I fished High Rock Lake in NC this year for the first time. I spoke to some locals who were saying the lake was 2-3' low, then as I was driving through the main channel I was seeing timber that was sticking out of the water maybe 6-8" or so. Thank God I wasn't there when it was full!

I've seen blades in timber but never an entire prop. Yank that sucker out and polish it up, get Croxton to fix any damage.
