Man a long time ago! Started riding with friends on their spares untill I was 16 when I bought a used 1993 KX125, was trying to race motocross but sucked at it! A good friend invited my to ride with him and his family at flying P ranch one weekend. I got hooked in the woods. I remember watching on any sunday with them about 1995. I've had a 1997 Kx250, a 1998 yz250 and a 2000 KTM 300MXC. I have my 2001 KTM300 and my best friends 1996 honda cr250r I restored.

I can't remember when I saw the movie, only that I loved it and ol' Malcom Smith was my hero. I wanted a dirt bike bad in HS but parents wouldn't allow it. Left home at 18 and a year later had a 125 Hodaka Wombat. That was the early 70s. Thought I'd try my hand at motocross and bought a Husqvarna CR125. It took me a grand total of two races to quickly tire of getting my ass handed to me by 12 year olds. End of motocross career. I'll never forget my glorious initiation into the sport. It was my first race and start and some kid on a Zundapp came ripping diagonally across the starting area and hammered my front wheel. Down we went. I still enjoy watching outdoor motocross racing on the tube and have enormous respect for just how fast those guys are. Not a fan of the indoor races.
There was a time that I didn't fish but I cannot remember it.

I saw it the first time probably 20 years ago at the high school metals technology class. A fellow teacher showed it to the metals class. I was very impressed with it and since have watched it again, very inspiring and uplifting! Malcom was definitely unique and in a class of his own!!

Saw it the first time at my house, don’t know the year. It bought it on VHS lol.

First two stroke I owned was a 1987 Honda TRX250R back in 1990. In 1992, I bought my first two stroke dirtbike, a 1992 Kawasaki KDX 200. Owned a bunch of two stroke CR, KX, YZ and RMX 250’s. Jumped on the 4stroke bandwagon in the late 2000’s till last month and came back full circle and bought a 2019 Beta 200RR.

I saw it summer of ‘71 when it came out. I was 11
and was just getting into motocross. My 2 brothers,
brother-in-law and several buddies raced. Started on
a Suzuki 90 that was made into dirt bike and then
moved to TM125. Brothers raced 125 and 250.
BIL race 400. We raced for about 5-6 years around
Indiana. Had some great times and also went to some
Trans AMA races were the Europeans came over and
raced. Got to see Roger DeCoster and the group race.
I now collect old Suzuki MX bikes and have 6 Currently.
