    That sent chills through me. I had one stick me between the thumb and first finger, in the loose skin area. Had to basically rip it out of my hand. It felt like I had been shot when it happened, then it hurt for nearly 6 months afterwards.

    Ouch! Catfish spines hurt like hell! Have had the misfortune of having them stuck in various parts of my anatomy over the years. Hope your finger feels better soon.

    I had a small channel cat get me in the knee. I wasn’t very old and it hurt like hell. Knee swolled up some and if I remember right it stayed like that way for a bit. Small ones can do a lot more damage than the big ones.
