New Hydra Sports bass Boats. In the near future?

I actually work next door to the Hydra Sports Manufacturer in Vonore Tn. They currently have several other Brand New Bass Boats from other manufactures in there lot, Ranger, Skeeter,Camas,Triton. Not sure what is going on, but they might be using these hulls for ideas for a Future Hydra Sports bass boat. Hmmmmmmm. Time will tell. Keep an eye out fellas. Hydra Sports might be back!

IMG_5126.JPG Yes, good to hear! But we really haven't gone anywhere. Just giving the rookies time to catch up! Thanks for the info.

I hope they are. The 196 is pretty much my favorite hull.

Hydra Sport morphed into a custom yacht company. Smallest rig they make is 38’11”. Doubtful they’ll get back into the bass boat market

Good to hear! I can't ever find anything about my 1993 LS200 so rejuvenation of the brand sounds good to me!

Hey Guys remember this post? Looks like I was on to something. Wheeler just announced a new Bass boat he is designing, and HCB is building it. Hydra Sports Custom Boats. I think this is going to be an Awesome Boat. Hydra Sports was a Fast bass boat back in the X270 days, that's back when the 150hp was the biggest hp allowed in tournaments. Can't wait to lay an eye on this.

I've owned a bunch of Hydrasports back in the 80s and early 90s. They hold a special place in my world. I still see a few in my area. I always loved the lightning bolt!

The only thing HCB has in common with the old hydra sports boats is the name. The new Ikon boat will be a subsidiary company.

Had a mid 90's 175LS. It was my very first "my own" bassboat I ever had. I will always love that boat!

Me too, it was my second bassboat though. Had a 175hp instead of the 150. I would probably still have it if it weren't for the speed bug...
