It's been my experience they do well taking care of this sort of thing under the Factory Warranty if it's a finishing DEFECT. Once the factory warranty expires, paint is not normally covered under Product Protection.

I've seen some post about this issue on Facebook page im on, and a few guys got a whole new lower from mercury. Dont know what the criteria is though!
I mean the paper stickers are holding up better that the factory paint, and it clearly hasn't been impacted by anything. It was a paint finish / paint prep issue. That said, a little bit out of warranty now so I can't complain too much about it.
