Bimini tops on an aluminum bass boat (RT188)

Does anyone put a bimini top on an aluminum bass boat like an RT188? If so, what size? My wife who will be going fishing with me want a way to get out of the sun at times. What kind is best or is this a stupid idea (takes up lots of room)?

I have one on my 175 Tracker. I don't use it every time out, but I'm happy to have it when I put it up. I have to be able to take a break from the sun and I have some choice when it rains as well. I shortened mine and I can't stand up fully under it, but it provides more protection and less wind resistance with the lower profile. It's tough(not impossible) to fish from the back with it up, but no problem with it stowed. I fish alone most of the time but if I have company, we just fish off the front or just drop it when fishing.

I have a 21' boat on order and I will absolutely put a bimini on it as well.

I have a Bimini top on my Tracker pt 175 too. It’s nice being able to get out of the sun for a little while, especially when I eat lunch. Very practical.

I have one on my RT 198 for the wife. Only put it on when she is going with me, other times it hang on hooks behind where I park the boat.

I put a 6’ long x 54” high Bimini on my v16 wt. Works great.

I have one on my 14’ Jon boat and, I just ordered one for my new 22’ jet boat. Don’t need them all of the time. But, they are great to have sometimes.

Ordered rear support tubes so I can fold back and not lay it all the way down
I have had a blast in this thing. It goes so much shallower than my fg boat
