    Thanks for response Todd...
    I had already reached out to TH Marine on their recommendations and Andrew replied (very quickly).
    I'm switching over to the bare/polished aluminum plates.
    The Lake we fish in Minnesota is tea colored and apparently reacted very quickly with their coating.

    Try Lime-a-way cleans away the white scum and water spots

    A CLP would be a good choice, It's what is used on anodized aluminum firearms for cleaning and protection.

    Another vote for Flitz, it is reccomended by Grady White as well for the salt water environment
