    Trailer guides

I posted this on the trailer section and no input. Maybe better luck here.

First off I really suck at loading our 22' triton and need more experience with putting it back on the trailer(only loaded this thing 1/2 dozen times). That said, I would like to add some trailer guides to the trailer and looking for some advise as to types and brands. I see rollers, posts and vertical bunks and want something that bolts to my trailer frame.

No recommendations but here's a thought - if you are launching/loading with someone to help, do what most guys do. When launching, pay attention to the trailer depth when the boat first begins to float, then when loading, stop the trailer before it gets to the depth the boat floated. Then ease the bow portion onto the trailer, keep your motor in gear and have your driver ease forward a tad so you can slide the pontoon on up. It'll take a little practice but you'll save money on trailer posts/guides, etc.
