Element interference with both units running in sonar mode.

I have 2 Elements networked, one on the console the other at the TM. When running both units in sonar mode, I get interference lines on both units. If I turn off either unit or go to Chart mode, the lines disappear. Any suggestions on how to fix this? I'm thinking its the transducers causing it. Both units are basically set to same settings as well. Thanks in advance!

Yes Chief I understand on that. Normally that's what I do, but some backseaters always want to see everything. What I did try and haven't tested it out yet was to set the noise rejection to High on both units to see if that helps. Will report back when I get to test it out.

Other than this minor problem, I really like these Elements!

    ahh, gotcha.

would be nice if we could adjust the chirp range to help with this, like other brands can.

I am a real rookie to this technology as I had old Lowrance LCX 15 mt units ! Love the Elements, just wish I got them earlier!

Reporting back on my original post. I am still getting the interference. I contacted Raymarine. They say with both units on the same freq there is nothing to prevent the transducers from causing the interference. I guess my backseaters will have to stare at a blank screen! LOL!

Can't you change the Frequency on one so they are not on the same Frequency ?? Or remove the Ethernet cable on one. I run 2 Transducers, one rear and one on the Trolling Motor.
