Help with 1988 single axle coupler parts

So I recently acquired an old 1988 364v with the original Ranger Trail single axle (no brakes trailer). I'm having a hard time finding coupler replacement parts to rebuild it. The latch no longer stays down properly. It has a twin fork design the is suppose to push down into the top to lock the horseshoe deal down but it does not. It's an old style horseshoe latch deal. It in A-frame design with the jack built into it that I assume most people remove or replace. I assume I could call Ranger parts but I just assume order parts online. I guess the big question is this beyond repair and just need a trailer place to reweld a whole new assembly. I've posted photos for help. Thanks in advance. The 364 typically came w/ brakes. Most states are 3000# max on gross weight. Anything heavier needs brakes. The 364 hull weight is about 1700# plus engine, batteries, fuel, trailer etc. You might want to look at a full retrofit w/ brakes. Call Jet-A Marine in Kentucky, they can sort out what parts you’d need.
