2004 Ranger 185vs trailer winch replacement?

Does anyone know where to get a replacement winch for my 2004 ranger trail. Also, can anyone tell me which one will fit?

On my 2002 185vs I put a Fulton F-1 on the trailer to replace the original. The F-2 they now make is much nicer than the F-1, just not sure if it will fit. Might want to take some measurements and go to a West Marine to see if the bolt patterns match up.

Definitely do the Fulton if it will fit, and get the F-2. The F-2 is a 2 speed and the low gear is sweeeeeet!

I had to go with the 7” handle due to clearance but they have others.

Put the Fulton F2 on my 2003 185VS when I had it, fit great and the 2 speed is worth it on a steep ramp.

Fulton F2 all the way. By far the best add-on, value-wise, I’ve ever purchased for a boat. We have many ramps up here that are steep; even when you drive all the way up to the bow roller, the boat slides back down before you can get the strap attached. And don’t be fooled into thinking that a smaller or lighter boat doesn’t need a 2-speed winch, because the factory winches are sized accordingly. If winching that last foot or two makes your eyeballs pop, spring for the 2-speed and relax.

I got the 2 speed Fulton too. First thought it was overkill but I love it.

Everyone is saying they got the F2, no one is saying which one? The weight range varies a lot, what poundage do you have?
