    New Silverado Trim Question

Looked at some new Silverado’s today as mine is on it’s last leg finally, and am trying to decide between the LT package and a Z71 package. The LT package at the dealership has all the sensors and extras minus the leather seats, where as the Z71 package does not. Both have the 5.3 in it, and the Z71 is about $2,000 more.

Has anyone else studied these models much lately thinking one was better than the other? I like the LTZ trim but the front seats are bucket seats so you can only seat 5, instead of 6 like the trucks I am looking at.

Anyways just looking for opinions on the LT trim with all the sensors compared to the Z71 without. Both 4x4, and we do have a heavy deck boat we use in the summer, but the ramp is only 2 miles from our trailer.

You can always add Katzki leather for about 1000-1500$. I paid 1000$ cash to get it installed in my crew cab f150.

I ordered a premium color Katskinz seat cover that are heated and ventilated for about 2 k installed on my Tundra. I won't have another full size truck without the sensors. The az71 is an offroad package. How much do you off road? I have the offroad version of the tundra because finding one without it normally steps you up in trim package.

The LT used to come in several options. My 2008 was a LT3.

The Trail Boss has a nice option package, my son has one.
Truck option packages are very confusing.

LT is the minimum I would get. You can get z71 on any package above LT I think, except LTZ. I have a new body style 19, came from a 17. Not sure what you mean about sensors.

I have a 2019 LT with z71 package. Nothing fancy. Has bucket seats with the fold down center console. Heated seats and steering wheel. Cloth seats, no sliding window or fog lights. Has tow package. Is my work truck and boat puller.

Z71 is a 2-speed case, skid plates, crappy shocks and some ornamental stuff. Nothing special.

Get the trim that doesn't offer broken valve springs and collapsing lifters.

You can get Z71 on most any trim. For example, you can get a Custom Trail Boss Z71. Guy at work has the RST package that’s a Z71.
