You have to set up the WIFI on your unit to recognize your home WIFI. I'll have to go to where I store my boat to figure the steps, but it should be under "Set-Up" on the unit. You can download it on you home computer to a blank chip and update it that way too.

When you turn on the WiFi does it see your home network?

Not sure on the Element, on the others you go into settings and turn on the wifi, then select your home and enter the password. Once on, you go to update and use online.
You should be able to go on Raymarine website and down load the manual.

Thanks Hickory for the info! Curt ( Jig34) is going to send me a MicroSD card with the update on it. This forum is awesome!
