    Question X19 Setback with 200 Merc? 10" or 12"?

I have a 2007 X19 that had a 150 VMAX but I just got a 200 ProXS Optimax that I'm gonna be swapping to this weekend. I bought a 10" jackplate and have 2" spacers in the garage. So my questions is should I go with 10" or 12" of setback? I don't really want to have to take the spacers off or add them back on later so what I go with is how it will stay.

I really would like to have the extra top end (if any) with the 12" of setback but not if it drastically reduces my holeshot. What kind of speeds are you guys seeing with a 10" or 12", what is hole shot like, and what would you recommend?

Mine had a 6" and I was looking to put a 10" on it but found a cheap 12" and been happy with it, personally I don't think there will be a big difference in performance in the 2" difference and I'm not a fan of spacers. I'm pretty sure you'll be happy with the 200 either way you go.

Two wrongs don't make a right , but three lefts do.
