Started RH, but arthritis in my wrist is causing a switch to LH. At 59 yrs, it was a tough first couple weeks.

I'm right-handed, and I want to set the hook with my dominant (right) arm. Therefore, I use LH baitcaster. Don't have to switch hands after cast. Make far more sense to me.

I'm right handed, but I use "LH" reels. Still don't understand that one.

I use both. When I am doing anything with bottom contact, I like a LH reel. When I am doing anything moving, I normally use a RH reel. I will say, that https://acmtackle.com/ has an amazing selection of reel in both left and right handed. From you high dollar reels to you budget friendly reel.

RH. A few years ago I tried mixing them and couldn't do it. Probably didn't fish enough to get used to the LH. The big issue I had was holding and fishing the rod in my right, my dominant hand. Felt awkward. Still thinking about trying it again this year. I can cast right/left about the same. Would like to be able to switch to a LH for pitching/flipping. Conditioned myself to flip left handed a long time ago to the point I'm not as strong with the right hand.
