LH I'm right handed but use left hand cranks, don't have to switch hands, seems easier to me.

I'm right handed and use both LH & RH. Which depends somewhat on what I'm fishing. LH for jerkbait, spinnerbait, chatterbait, pitching. RH for C'rig, crankbait, etc. I used to do some flipping, for which I found a RH worked a lot better, partly because switching the rod to the left gives better leverage for the hookset, and partly because I'd get the line snarled in the reel handle about 1 in 10 flips. I figured that if I got bit on 10% of the flips, it would be on that 1, so got a RH reel. Sort of the same idea for C'rig, leverage, but also because I much prefer palming the reel and holding the line between thumb and index finger ahead of the reel, while sweeping/dragging with the rod.

It used to take me about 3 casts to get on automatic when I switched from one to the other, but last time I didn't notice any confusion or delay in the switching.
Don't bother me, I'm screwing for virginity.

I killed a 12-pack just to watch it die.

Nothing more than common sense. My first left sided crank was on a Abu Garcia in '77-'78, then a Shimano Speedmaster soon afterward. I remember years ago there was a baseball pitcher who threw right handed and caught right handed......but he only had one arm!

I’m right handed, but I use left hand reels. Baitcasting and spinning.

Been using RH since I learned on casting gear, but prefer pitching/flipping & BFS with LH reels.

RH & am RH … I can’t brush my teeth left handed or I’d poke my eye out.
