Thumbs Up First day on Lake Ontario!

My buddy and I made it back out to Lake Ontario and the St Lawrence River a few weeks ago. Drove up Saturday morning, 350 miles and about 7 hours total to get there. Got to the AirBnB to check in, emptied the truck as fast as we could, and headed straight to the nearest boat launch on Chaumont Bay to get in a few hours of fishing before dark. We made good work of the little time we had at the end of the day! I managed to drop a giant though, right at the freaking boat!!

I'm hoping to get back out there for a long weekend at the same time, but we'll see. Largely depends on my job situation by then.

lol yea it is, but it's soooo nice. I had the "normal" size Ego Slider net before this one, and it was nice, never had an issue...until I almost missed netting a near 6 pound largie for my buddy. Then it all of a sudden seemed way too small. I was due for an upgrade, so I went to the next size up, I think it's the first XL size. Love it though. Very little room for error with a net of that size, makes my co-anglers feel more comfortable using it too.
