Would I be able to use the new UHD transducers, like theGT34UHD-TM, with an EchoMAP CHIRP 9*sv unit? I currently have the GT30/GT8 combo. I figure since I would probably get a UHD/Ultra unit w/o transducerlater, I could step into it by getting the UHD ‘ducer first.
I keep seeing posts that the plus units can be used with theUHD xducers and wanted to know if the CHIRP unit can be used.

According to the Garmin website, its not compatible with the 93 Chirp series. Only Plus models.....
