    Caymas REBATE, PROMOTIONS, INCENTIVES

Seems Caymas gives the dealer these to help offset the boats costs.

Interesting…I noticed my local dealer price dropped almost all their new Caymas inventory

I'm usually a fan of black on the bottom. But the grey is really sharp!! I've seen it in a few boats lately.

I've been thinking about a 18 SS now might be a good time to buy one.

    Joe,
Why the 150ProXS on the 18SS? All the boats in see on-line have 150 when there rated for a 175? Delivery issues with the 175?

Just for cost usually. And they still perform very well. The 18 FT that's rated for 175's you'll see a lot of 150s on various manufacturers. We tend to keep the CX 19 at a 225 horsepower. Even though it does perform very well with a 200 HP.

I have the CX18ss with a Mercury 150 Pro XS and holeshot is instant with no bow raise. I have had the boat up to 60 mph and it seemed like there was a bit more left in it. Boat is super responsive to the pedal. Really do not see the need for the 175.

Thanks. I've always been told to get the maximum horsepower for resale and lord knows I've been through a few boats in my 66 years.
Plus the 175 sounds bad ass lol

if you really want to hear “bad ass”, fire up a 250 ProXS. The guy fishing with me last week, every time I started up to move spots, he’d say “do that again please”!

I agree with you. But on the rigs with 150/175, it doesn't seem to matter much. It doesn't affect anything on our end from a trade/appraisal value.

I have a 225 currently and had a 175 few years back. Wish I still had the boat but life offered me an opportunity that was to good to be true , or so I thought at the time. Live an Learn.
Jut thinking of going back to a 18' boat boat and more than likely be my last one at my age
