Solix, Helix network help

Need some help, I can’t fish right now so I thought I would get my units all networked. I have a Network hub and a solix 12 g1n and 999 at the console and a g1n solix 10 and a G2N helix 10 at the bow with a new ultrex MDI connected to the solix 10.


Everything is running the most current software


It looks like the solix’s can see each other but can’t see the helix or 999


The helix and 999 see each other


I was planning on using chirp on the helix and MDI on the solix at the bow both using the ultrex built in MDI transducer.


Any help would be appreciated

The ONLY thing you can share between SOLIX and Helix is waypoints.

Thanks for the response, I was planning on using the helix for mega chirp and the solix for MDI. I guess I’ll have to rethink my plans.

I wonder if I could add a 2nd transducer to my trolling motor without getting interference?

As long as the units are not using the same frequency/s that will work. Sort of leaves out HW CHIRP though.

Impossible, the frequencies used for each are way apart.

MEGA is Imaging 1200 kHz single frequency or CHIRP.
HW is CHIRP 140-240 kHz.

You can do that----maybe.
BUT with the transducers you have to work with:
You would have to use the Helix for 2D since you cannot run the unit without at least 2D sonar. The only settings you have are the Connected Transducer and Sonar OFF.
The SOLIX, you can turn off 2D and still have Imaging--maybe. I have not tried that to see if 2D is required for ranging DI.
