This one didn’t age well..... at least urban got to watch his team choke it off.
The officiating wasn’t great in the game, several calls were missed, but the way that the Buckeyes grabbing the Clemson receivers jerseys was horrible. Play after play, they held, and very few were called. Venables defense was getting schooled in the first half, but, after half-time adjustments, that changed!
I’m thankful that it was a good game after the Oklahoma meltdown!!!!

Yeah, blame it on the refs, you gotta keep your head up when tackling. Just about every college game that I have watched this season, there has been at least one targeting call. You can blame the officials but they are only enforcing the rule as it is written. Most seem to agree with the new rule, gotta do something to curb the brain injuries.

Didn’t have an issue with the targeting call but the overturned scoop and score was a terrible call. Made the difference in the outcome of the game.
