    Windshield extension works!

I found this on Amazon that is used for motorcycles but it mounts easy on my 2016 Z521 windshield. Already tried it out and it definitely helps cut the wind on chilly runs. Its only $40 and clamps on without drilling. It should help with rain too?

Got really excited by your post as I'm on the tall side (6'5") and get BLASTED by the wind/rain/sleet/snow on my 2015 Z520Ci. But then I read the reviews (1 in 5 gave it 1 star).

What makes me most anxious about this solution is that - should it fail at 70+ mph - where is that bladed headed (the answer is in the question - your HEAD)?

I've been using it for a couple years and the way it attaches is very strong. No problem with it coming off. However there is a different problem in that the angle adjustment is not strong enough to hold an upright position at high speed. So it ends up in a flatter angle. While not as beneficial at the flatter angle, it does help some. It gives you a little something extra to crouch behind. I recall there were several different brands and models of this product so you might want to check other options.

These look like knockoffs of a German made extension https://twistedthrottle.com/shop/erg...bolt-on-clear/ I've been using this for years and the are fantastic. German engineering and quality at it's best. Made for the autobahn and high speeds, nice stuff.

Bassnman81, earlier today I responded to a post you made in March of 2019 about these extensions. Did you clamp or bolt-on? Also, you wrote to look in the reviews to see how it was mounted. You mean the reviews on the MRA site? I don't see anything there. Do you have any pix you'd be willing to post? How does this work if you put the cover on the boat?

Thought I replied. The windscreen works great. I amazed that I don't see more out there. I clamped mine on and it's fine. Like I said it's designed for the autobahn. The reviews are in the Twisted Throttle site. They also have several vidios of how to mount them and put them together. The engineering is great on these. To answer about putting on a cover, I don't have a cover and ca n't comment on that0517171504.jpg

So far so good. Can't speak to the knockoffs though.

Bassnman, Now that I've seen a pic... Wondering if you considered the larger touring size.

I'm thinking that would give better coverage if it'll fit. If you had to do it again, would you still go Sport? Or Tour?
