I know what your saying. If it's in the low 40's on Sunday , I might just go to the Des Plaines river and get my fix.
My wife has the opportunity to go to Dallas. Up until this month I've said no. I might have to think about it now!

Sal where do you do fish the desplaines at?
You better take me with you Sal. I am going insane right about now. I need to practice so I can beat you and Phil on springfield.
thankfully I'm going to Florida at the end of the month for 2 weeks. Thinking about taking a trip to the big O since I will only be 90 minutes away.
This winter has definitely been long enough. Fortunately, I never winterized my boat so I could fish the Desplaines all winter. That has been a lifesaver for me despite the frigid temps. If it wasn't for that I think I would already have had the boat all nice and clean, waxed, and ready for spring.....but I don't.

If sangchris is still offline you can get your fix on Springfield.

Man, I couldn't go all winter without fishing. Went to Baldwin 2 Saturday and Sundays ago and I am going this Saturday and Sunday again. Don't know how anyone can winterize a boat. 6 years and I have never needed to winterize. Not bragging, just trying to inspire.
