Has anyone had a HD Hamby’ beach bumper installed on a ‘86 - ‘87 201? Dealership was concerned about the lower raised rib running where bumper will be placed on top.

I had an Original Hamby installed on my 93 201. I would think the strakes would be the same on the 201 hulls. There was a small gap on the bottom strake, and I filled it with white RTV just to keep the water out. Owned the boat for 8 years and never had any problems. Had North Texas Fiberglass in Denton install it. I don't think he's there anymore.
New boat dealer installed a Hamby's Light on my 1985 Champ 184 in 2009 (total - $327.35), it was still on there yesterday. [black & white, cropped, resized, save for web - Photoshop]
