Does anyone recommend trailer bunk slides for fiberglass boat? See most say 1500lb max on fiberglass boat. Mine is 18-1/2ft dual console and I believe is probably over 1500lb. Mine is really hard to load and eats up bunk carpeting. Bunks are not adjustable and welded in. If I put trailer in deeper usually bunks do not line up with hull correctly. Thanks for your input.
The weight of your boat is distributed across all bunk boards. So if you have 4 bunks and each is rated for 1500 you should be good. Your boat doesn't weight 6k.

Not a fan of slides. think they will eat up gel coat. Sounds like u have an underlying issue, like the not lining up the boat part. i'd be trying to figure that out, slides won't fix that.
