Fishing this coming Sat. & Sun, BASS series. Will post a report first of next week. Anyone here going to be their this weekend?
Oh heck. I am trying to remember the name of it. There is another site called "something taxidermy. Its apretty good site that covers middle Ga very well including Oconee, West Point and Lake Jackson. If anyone remembers the name feel free to chip in. I am thinking its randys taxidermy.
fished there Wed. tough bite, onlt a few small ones on crankbaits. intrested to see what wins the BASS series sunday.
WHY DON'T WE CHUG ON DOWN TO MAMBY-PAMBY LAND WHERE MAYBE WE CAN FIND SOME SELF CONFIDENCE FOR YOU YA JACKWAGON!!
Fished in a club tournament on Saturday (02/18/06). I had a tuff day with 3 dinks @ 2.77. Had a couple of short fish and missed 3 good strikes on Carolina rig. Non boater with me had 3 dinks @ 2.70. He also had a few short fish. It took 8 lbs. (+ some odd ounces) to collect the third place check. With 16.24 lbs. taking first and 12 lbs (+ some odd ounces) taking second. Both first and second place sacks came out of the same boat (boater = 1st.; non boater = 2nd.). The big sacks were caught on jigging spoons (exact location & dept. unknown) and the third place sack was caught on jerk bait (exact location & dept. unknown). The weather was bad with the temp. dropping all day and rain setting in about 1300. The water temp. ranged from 47 deg. up around crooked creek to about 52 deg. just north of Island creek. The warmest water was beaver dam creek at 67 deg. I'll let you know what happens after the BFL on 03/11/06.
Well whats the word for Lake sinclair? I am making my first trip there this weekend and am looking for some insight as what to bring? Is it safe to assume with the weather warming up (supposed to be in the low 80s by weeks end) and the moon phase that the fish will be moving up shallow? Any help would be appreciated, also I think there is a BFL on Sat, so will prob. put in late and try to avoid all them guys/gals. Not looking for honey holes just an idea on where to try.

just got off the lake, the bite was slow and boat traffic was horrendous. caught 1 fish on weighless senko type bait under boat dock in 11-13ft at 1900hrs and a 3lb'er on a watermelon chatterbait in front of boatdocks...i found a new topwater spot for mornings and its right across from my favorite fishing hole!......Billy, i'll show it to you on the map. i'll probablly come up there and show you around on the friday before your tourney.

Yeah Billy will need all the help he can get!!! I think he only owns one crankbait and I am sure he will be throwing it Billy them fish are gonna be deep. But there is some docks that should hold some fish too.
Jay!! You know thats not true. I have at least 10 crankbaits. They are all the same brand and color, but I have more than 1!!
Billy when is your tourney on Sinclair?
2 weeks away now. 14 & 15 or 15 & 16?? Whatever that weekend is!!
Ok when are you all going to west point??
