    SKEETER ZX180 gas tank sender question

    I have a 1996 ZX180 with a 33 gal gas tank and the gas gauge is pegged negative position. I grounded the gauge and it pegged to full so I think my sender is bad or a wire is broken. I have looked but can't find the sending unit on the plastic tank. Anyone know where it is supposed to be? Thanks.

    Please disregard the question...my young son was able to crawl in the back and found it...now I need to find the problem....the connection seems good.....any suggestions?
