getting on plane 921
keep jackplate at 8 or 9 when doing hole shot when gets on plane motor revs(mercury) and see rpms jump 300 to 400 is this normal when gets on plane or result of prop slip.been able to run so far tournament load two people (500 pounds) 45 gallons 8 or 9 jack plate trim 1/4 on gauge( steering gets tight any higher)68 to 70 with no chine walk at 5600 rpms

I've had a 721 (SHO then ProXS) and currently have a 921(4XS). Somewhere between 10-14 on an Atlas HJP was the sweet spot depending on prop. I’d recommend running at 10-12 to get on plane.
