I have a question regarding the livewell operation. There is a lever below and to the right of the driver seat. To fill the livewell do you pull it out or push it in?

I have a question regarding the livewell operation. There is a lever below and to the right of the driver seat. To fill the livewell do you pull it out or push it in?
On the 90 176 I had there were two push / pull controls behind the inner wall of the cockpit and below the throttle. I'm working from memory here, I sold that boat in 2003. The top one was for the front livewell and the bottom was for the livewell between the seats. Pull out to close the valves and push in to drain. I also found this on an 88 manual I have a copy of. Fill your livewell with a garden hose and see if it drains in one position
