    Spacers on a Triton

Has anyone used spacers on a Triton? If yes, what changes did you see in your performance?

Thats it? I wouldn't even bother with spacers, you need a 10" jack plate.

Dang! Some guys said an 8" jackplate is the deal. I was hoping to get away with a cheaper route. I see Bob's machine shop sells the 4" setback brackets. I wonder if I could use those instead. I can't do 10" because of my garage.

Extend the garage, get a carport and keep it under it, or get a shorter boat.

I’m returning the spacers. I just order a TH Marine 4” fixed setback plate which will give me an 8” setback. Hopefully I should be good to go!

I’m running a 6” hydraulic with 2” spacers on my TR20. Runs great.

I am also going to leave the 2 degree wedges on along with the 4" setback plates. Hopefully this gets me going!
