    ‘92 184 Jackplate Questions

I’m looking to add a jackplate to my 1992 184 Champion. The motor has badging for a 175 Mariner 2.5 XRi, but when I took off the cowling it looks to be a 200 2.5xri.

it looks like consensus is a 6” Rapid magnum Jack Plate, but any advice regarding tuck angle or for prop would be welcomed too!

1997 Tempest A45 25P, flat trim tab zinc anode (prop would hit regular trim tab anode)
    2003 CMC ML-65 jack plate (5.5"), 3.78-inch PTP (optimum setting ???)
    ~ 20 gal gas tank
Oil tank & 3-bank charger in bilge area
two 27-series deep cycle; 24-series start (all lead acid)
    older 24V MotorGuide

6-8 is fine. None is fine on that hull as well.

Boat dealer mechanic who used to work for a Champion dealer told me Tempest A45 25P is what I needed for my new 1997 EFI on my Champ. Mechanic lake tested prop (dealer was 100 yards from boat ramp). I didn't have a jack plate until 2003. Already finished the new motor break-in procedure with an old prop before this new prop purchase.
