West Coast Trip
IMG_1889.jpegWell this year for our annual bike ride we went out west. Started in Portland
and went to Redwoods then Sequoia. Spent a couple nights down by Sequoia
then up thru Yosemite and to Lake Tahoe. Up to Crater Lake and then back
to Portland. Rented GS BMW’s which we have done before. The scenery was
spectacular and weather was warm. There was 7 of us on this trip and it’s the
5th trip we have done. Rode 2300 miles in a week that was a little too much.
if I had to do it over I would skip Sequoia and spend more time in northern
California and Lake Tahoe area. No major issues and Fun time had by all. We
rented VRBO houses along the way and it worked out great.

Sounds like a great (and safe) trip!!

2,300 miles in a week is a lot especially considering some of those roads are tighter two lane roads. But sounds like a good trip!
