    2004 200hp 3.0L EFI (Serial number: 0T907976)

    Is it normal that tell tale water is cool after idling for 10 minutes?

    water leaking out from the prop is warm.

    I found that it's because I didn't line up the muffs well enough. I adjusted their position and the water is warm now.

    That's going to depend on how warm the engine is, how cold the water is, and whether or not the thermostats are open. Telltale "temperature" is not an indicator for cooling system health on 3L engine models.
