I’ve got a new Marine Master trailer that is leaking brake fluid under the tongue - looks to be a couple bottle caps of fluid so far. Will call Marine Master today but guessing the answer is a replacement of the entire actuator?

Could be just a fitting that needs tightened.
Check the fittings first for sure, but I bought a new A-60 actuator a couple years ago that leaked right off the bat and could never figure out where it came from. UFP replaced it through a warranty claim.
Sounds like it’s the dealerships problem?

Mite be easy to find. Tube from the master to the solenoid. Open the tongue knuckle up and look in the back.

Some master cylinders used the frame of the trailer as the top of the master cylinder. That requires a gasket, straight parts and the bolts into the master cyinder being tight and not too long.
Dealer is 2:30 hours. I'm never against learning how to fix something, especially if its easy and could come in handy down the road. I wiped the fluid off the tongue and am going to see where exactly its coming from next time I tow.

It's prob something silly like a loose fitting. Do you know what type of actuator you have?
The whole actuator does not need to be replaced. It'll either come from the master cylinder, the reverse solenoid (if equipped) or the return hose from solenoid back to master cylinder

This should be a UFP A-60 actuator. Little piece of tubing from back of the MC to the solenoid, then a fitting on the solenoid for the brake line. These would be what I'd check - could be that it was overfilled? I think there are little ty-wraps on the little section of tubing. If yah need to slide the assembly out of the tongue for access, get a piece of 3/4 inch dowel and cut two pieces just the width of the actuator assembly. Drive those in where the roller pins are, then you kin slide the actuator assembly out intact. This is if you've got enough slack in the brake line and wire to the solenoid. I had a length of brake line coiled up inside the trailer, in that piece right in front of the spare. MM used stock length hoses and that one is too long. Not good to have it coiled up inside the frame.
