2002 Cobra Coosa
What speeds are you all getting on your Cobra Boats.
I have a 201 with a 250 Yamaha on it and I'm only getting maybe 58 MPH at 5800rpm. I am thinking I need to adjust the jack plate a little and also get me a new prop.
Just trying to get an idea.

I believe that there is something wrong with your set up or your motor. I run a 2003 Merc 225 EFI hanging off a 10" Slidemaster set at 2 7/8" P2P swinging a 26" Tempest+ running in the 70+ at 5700

What prop are you running?
What is your compression?
Is the Yammi an 02 OX66?

I think that is a lot of the problem is that I am needing a new prob. Took it out this weekend and wasn't able to get the motors rpms above 5000 rpm.
Compression was mid 90's the last time I had it checked.
Yes it is the OX66.

What damage do you see on the prop?
It should be spinning a Yamaha 25" prop without a problem, if the motor is sound and you have good fresh fuel.
