Old Logging Train Lake Verret

Does anyone know where this old train is ?

There is one in Bayou Goddel in the S curve by the camps

I think I found where it's at. It over buy Attakapas.

Yes, if you go on google earth, East of Attakapas landing they have a label saying "Richard's Camp". The train is down that dead end canal. just go straight down, dont turn left (north) in the other canal, just keep idling down toward the back and it is on the left. I use to stay at a camp down that canal quite a bit.Screenshot 2024-05-02 061442.png It is near where the red X is. It is pretty deteriorated though. Unless there is another train somewhere else that I dont know of, this should be it.

If you go way in the back in Bay Wallace, there is a set of tracks that go into the water.

I can see the cars from the bank. I have never gotten out and looked to see if there is any track.

Nice, I will make a pass next time I am out that way. Might go soon and listen to some music at Gros' marina too.
