Have any of you used their prescription sunglasses before? Good experience? Man, Costa del Mar is terrible now since Luxottica bought them, tried to order prescription sunglasses THREE times, all 3 times were either wrong script, lenses installed wrong or damaged the frame installing them, sent all 3 back.

I know I’m taking a chance. But the Maui’s I really wanted were coming out over $900. I’ve had good experience with the Sport RX brand lenses. Thought the quality was just as good as the big marketed brands.

Taking a chance is good, let us know If you don't mind! I would love some Maui's too! So nice. Costa was TOP tier when they were made in house at their lab. Sad they sold. The Sport RX is a Shady Ray lens? Or another brand?

got prescription glasses from shady couple of years ago - they are great - had frame break a few years ago and they replaced in a few days. will buy from them again

How does one actually order RX sunglasses... do you just use your normal rx and order through the website, or do you order through your optometrist ? I need a pair, but am also due for a yearly checkup and I suspect my rx is changing, do don't want to order with my current rx. So no sales for me boohoo lol. But I think I can order through govx at a discount so thinking about going that route.

the way it's been done in the past is you have to upload a prescription script and then enter the info manually. (different site)

I sent them an email, I was on hold for 15min so I am not in a rush, so hopefully they will have what I want. I will post what I find out.
