21 SS vs SST

Anyone sat in both? I can’t remember what the difference is?

K I’m not up to SPEED on these 2 models as I should be. I think the main difference is layout on the inside. The 21ss has a step similar to the XD Boats. Raise the step and you have a storage area under the deck and in the middle of the boat. The rod lockers on both sides. The deck extends farther back where the rod locker are so not a straight line across the back of the deck. The 21SST is designed basically like the XRS deck lay out. The back of the deck is straight across. I think the hulls are the same?? Maybe?? I do know if you are looking for good fish ability and storage but you want a boat that is capable of big numbers in the speed department these are your kind of rigs. I’m sure some of the guys with more knowledge on these 2 models will chime in soon. They will correct any information that I did not get correct and add information.

The seat depth should be the same between the 2. The seats are not as wide in a SST as they were in a SS boat. I may be wrong but I do not believe he SS is even in production anymore.

The seat height are similar between the two. They do set up higher than the sport seats that were in the X boats. My partner didn't like setting up high in the passenger seat at speed. Made him hold on tightly.
