Heading up to hartwell next week. I know the pros will be there pre fishing but does any locals have any where for me to start? I have never fished hartwell but have fished clark hill and russell many times and do fairly well there. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Im me if you dont want any secrets public
The fish are still deep in 25-30ft of water.. Went this past weekend and caught 16lbs on saturday and 14lbs on sunday. I caught most of my fish on a c-rig with a two foot leader and a bubble gum trick worm.. Work points that drop off sharply into 25ft of water. I also used a 3/4oz blue fox spinn

Goose - if you can get Justin to reply he can def help you. He is as close to a proas I know that lives in this area. He managed to finish pretty highly in a major tx last year.
I ain't anywhere near being a pro but I can tell you what I did when I fished there last year. That was only my 2nd time being there. I fished shallow flooded grass with a spinnerbait, Texas rigged trick worm in green pumpkin blue, and a bubble gum trick worm weightless. Hope this helps. Oh yea and I stayed in creeks off the river.
I wouldn't recommend throwing any of those three at the Top 6...
Billy I need some tips for the top 6 since you are in tight with the local pro Glenn and he's even going to let you use his boat! Haha
I would be happy to share some info with you. You still going non boater?? I think I would rather use your boat..its got a power pole and THAT would come in helpful where I am gonna be!!
