New FXR 20

Traded my Ranger 520 L on a new 2023 FXR 20 Dual Console. This is my review after 1 Month and 11 hours on motor.

Pros
Launches out of hole like a rocket. Prop Yamaha T2 25.
compartments don’t leak after a heavy rain.
Does not porpoise only if I make it . Jack plate setting on TH guage 3.
Seems to handle rough water, and boat wakes fairly good.
top speed around 69 full tank fuel and extra console w/passenger.
90 percent of my driving is around 40-45 rpm’s.
Raptors seem sturdy and function well.
Yamah SHO has been flawless.
Trailer seems well built tracks behind truck ok.

Cons
Remote Drain plug leaked, after crawling under and looking the two screws attached would not tightened factory drilled the two holes to big for the screws . Will take in to Dealer for repair under warranty.


Excessive screws and old zip ties were in the bilge . I cleaned it out twice.


Overall I am well satisfied with my purchase.

sounds good so far , I love mine 2021 fxr just had a couple problems but dealer fixed . good luck with her ENJOY

Sounds like my experience with 2023 fxr20 with 75 hours on it now.. I also have dual console. Love mine... Traded a bass cat cougar ftd for it. So glad I did... More room, better ride, better layout
