Feel for FSU, they got hosed IMO. I believe Georgia losing hurt FSU. Had UGA won, committee could have put in 4 undefeated teams, each from a separate conferences. There would have been no pressure to include any 1 loss teams.

I think GA is still the best team in the country but had a tough loss to a surging Alabama team. that both are not in the playoffs is about making different conferences feel relavant.

In 2011 bama won the National Championship and didn't even play in the Conference Championship game. Talk about screwed up.
Well they must have got it right if they won the championship. Otherwise they would have been beat.
A lot happened for them to make that game too so it wasn't like they just jumped over a bunch of teams to get there...... several upsets along the way had to happen for Bama to get back to that number 2 ranking...

Like I said earlier…really happy Texas is in and I think they are one of the 4 best. That said, FSU got hosed and I really feel bad for those kids. FSU needs out of that conference…they should do it soon while they have options.
No dog in this fight but I feel FSU should skip that shitty bowl game. Send a message. Why risk injuries to seniors? Why line the pocket of the NCAA elites? I used to bash the NFL for their money first attitude, the NCAA is just as bad. I’m over the NFL and now have added college football to the same list. Won’t be watching and supporting any bowl games this year.

Nope, I’m a gator hater. I root for whoever they are playing. lol. My teams SUCK. UCF and Syracuse. I find it horrible and not fair to the FSU team. I guess their QB is the only player worth a crap. I guess their dominate defense means nothing. I used to be bothered when college players sat out bowl games so they wouldn’t get injured and potential lose millions in the NFL. But now I totally understand it.

With NIL, the players are making more money than a lot of coaches, and they still sit out some bowl games. All out of sorts in the college game.
