    Re: Skeeter FX Series (JoeJoslinoutdoors)

J.J. no that price does not include tax. I have been thinking about why Skeeter would put such a high number on the MSRP. and then the dealer sells it for 15000 under that. Thats a good way to push away potential buyers right off the get go They should have dropped it 5000 on both models. When people see that 70 number they get sticker shock. And if its your first Sadie Hawkins Dance you could get had.

I agree that the 70k could keep some anglers from even considering an FX. Of course as you well know it does give the dealer a lot of wiggle room. Congrats on your new rig. Do you have a photo of your new rig? Would you e-mail it or put it on Skeeter Facebook. I would love to see it. My new rig (fx21) is suppose to come in Tues or Wednesday and I have two excellent prospects for buying my 2009 21 i......just in time.

Yes, you had major add ons......With the high demand for these boats you got a great deal. Do you have any water in your neck of the woods or is it all ice?

Its like Christmas in February you must of had a smirk your face all day today. I thought I was bad with trading things in. Your boat is only a year old you must have had a fatty for the FX for quite some time. I don't have any photos because I ordered it last week and I wanted specific items on it and a certain color match. I should see it at the end of the month or early March. A lot of good that will do me I can't use it until April where I live. Its looks exactly like the picture on the Skeeter web site (Sterling,Black and White Strips) and thats just a coincidence that is the color I wanted from the start and ordered on the Ranger. I would love to see your pics for sure.

Yea, it is a blessing to fish 12 months a year...fish mostly Rayburn and Toledo.
I wonder if the break-in on a 4 stroke is similar to the HPDI Series 2?

That I'm not sure of and don't take anyones word on that except the dealer and it won't hurt to ask another one either. That should be question number one on your delivery date. Play it smart even if they say other wise remember its a brand new product treat it with kid gloves even if it is a caged Monster, stagger your RPM's for a while. Be careful running wide open for lengthy periods.

    Re: Skeeter FX Series (treeguy4090)

Great advice...I break'em in by the book anyway for lots of reasons.....the main one is that I want a dependable, long lasting high performance motor plus the computer history chip will tell papa Yammy if you don't connect all the dots. Warranty can go in the can. Play it smart and play it safe....follow manual.
