When I ordered both my Talons each one came with 2 remotes, 2 neck lanyards and 1 mount for the console. In total I ended up with 4 remotes, 4 neck lanyards and two console mounts. I also ordered a foot remote switch. Here is how I run my set up.
Foot switch at the bow...it has a mode switch that allows me to use left, right or both at the same time
I have a neck lanyard with one remote that is programmed to run both Talon's at the same time...I only use it in cool weather. In the heat of summer I have another setup that I use.
I have a D Ring clip that is supposed to be used for car keys. On the D Ring I have a Talon remote that is programmed to run both Talons. I clip the D Ring to a belt loop or my life-jacket. this is the setup I use in the heat of summer because I do not like the neck lanyard when I am hot and sweaty.
I have been running that set up for 10 months. I have yet to run across a situation where I felt like I need to mount one to the console. I have one on me via a lanyard or a D Ring clip at all times. I use the foot switch when up front. In my situation the console mount is not necessary.
I have two spare remotes and both dash mounts that I do not use.
I just have 1 remote for both Talons, on the same lanyard as the Ulterra remote. Works well. Have a spare and few batteries in the glove box.
