No doubt, city living is different from country living.

I lived there for 4 years off of 1960 by Champions golf course, don’t miss it at all
I used to go to Houston often 20-25 years ago. I haven’t been since. Traffic and the city wasn’t too bad back then but now, no thanks.
My son was living in a suburb north of Houston called Porter Heights a couple of years ago. I thought it was nice where he lived but I can't remember the name of the subdivision. He drove into Houston for work but worked odd hours so the traffic wasn't usually terrible.

Hope it works out for yo Big Will. I feel for your life style change coming. I can see the attraction for a Medical Profesional. I talked to one RN who lives out a ways (I don't remember the area) who works 12 hour shifts and everyday with the commute is 14-15 hours long, no family life till her 3 day weekends.
I was in Houston this last weekend to visit my son who was hit by a cop runner and ended up in the hospital from it. Saturday night at 11:00 pm was too busy to be nearly midnight, Sunday in the am is approaching Tulsa rush hour levels, and Monday am every vehicle sold in south Texas in the last 10 years was on the road.

My wife worked for a company that was headquartered here in OKC that was bought out by a company headquartered in Houston. After a few years the two main offices were deemed redundant and unnecessary so there was much speculation on if we were going to be moved to Houston or not. I didn't want my wife to lose a good job but I sure as hell didn't want to move to Houston. I remember saying that I would just as soon live in Los Angeles than Houston. As it turned out she was sacked along with about 50 others. A real mix of emotions in that deal.
Don't worry Ma'am....
I'm only here for the Bass.
If professionals who's careers depend on catching fish use FFS then that's what I'm using. Might be too simple of a philosophy but makes sense to me.
