Pretty sure separate locations for expo/weigh in has affected the weigh in attendance. Sunday weigh in will be packed.

I can tell you tge count will be about as accurate as it's ever been. They have strictly controlled access and if you did not have a pass you were not getting back in without a stamp on your hand. They said it was so people were not counted twice.
I don't think we attended the same event. I’ll leave it there.

You attended for a few hours. I was there from start to almost finish. Been been here several days now all day long. I've worked the past 10 or so Classics. Friday started pretty slow but giot busy around 1:00 PM. The turnout here has been just fine compared to others. No clue what final count will be. Pretty curious to hear the numbers.

I was one of the MLF bashers when the split happened but since BASS live has went down the crapper i started watching the BPT. i hate to admit it but i enjoy it far better. The format makes it more interesting and the production is far superior. I think anyone who hasn’t watched it in a while should watch redcrest coming up and see the difference. Their live is perfect for fisherman to watch. Very little commercials and talking.

maybe it’s more of a man crush where he meant it as they’d be in the presence of greatness with you at the expo and the anglers ain’t got nothing on you

when redcrest starts I think bass should be watching and taking notes about their production quality. There’s always room for improvement but in the 6 years that the BPT has existed their production went from very sub par to essentially the best. Seemed like there was some gremlins they had to deal with during the first day of the classic

I have been to the classic a few times. Best outdoor show ever and best time to go to the expo is during the weigh-in. Not sure how anybody can watch and listen to that.

Went to the Tulsa Grand Lake final day weigh in and it was LOOOOONNNNGGGGGG and drawn out. I'm sure it even worse now.
If professionals who's careers depend on catching fish use FFS then that's what I'm using. Might be too simple of a philosophy but makes sense to me.

You deserve a raise for your dedication and salesmanship. Maybe today you take an end to end video to backup all your initial claims since you are there all day.

By far the emptiest classic and expo I have attended. Great for us as we got to meet many legends without having to stand in lines. Bill Dance autograph at the expo and the funnel cake booth at the classic were the only lines we encountered.

This weekend’s live coverage and in-person experience makes for the first time in 25 years that I’m questioning the direction of BASS.

I never said anything about crowd size at the weigh in. I haven't been either day so I couldn't tell you what they were like. As far as the Expo I see what I see. It started slow on Friday then picked up after about 1:00PM. Yesterday was steady busy and packed pretty well all day. You have your opinion, I have mine. I noticed a couple of other people working or attending the show that are posting on here are saying the Expo attendance is fine so they are seeing the crowds too.
I'm not too caught up in the direction of BASS or any kind of stuff like that. Couldn't tell you where they are headed or how it's gonna look in the future. If they are around ornot, it's not gonna affect my own enjoyment of fishing.
I just know attendance here seems to be just fine.

I was at expo from 1 to 3 on Friday and 1 to 4 yesterday. It was packed. You really had to have patience to do any bait shopping. It was very slow getting around. Weigh in was pretty full yesterday but people did slowly start to leave prob because how long it was taking. They announced 12 anglers left and it was 7:45. We ended up leaving little early.

It's been this way for years now, why in the world Bass doesn't use more on water cameras is beyond me. At minimum have enough to move around to ensure you're in the boat with hot anglers making a charge. How exciting could it have been watching Milliken catch 26+ versus a camera with Zaldain. Milliken and his 600k followers would have been a nice bump for BASS. BPT does this beautifully, Bass would rather have guys on the set chatting.

The line of vehicles to park in the parking garage near the Expo was 4 blocks long this morning.
