Our club fished the 23rd out of Amity. It was TOUGH!!! We only had 8 people go and 6 people went down to fish clear water and the grass...they caught a few fish. 2nd place came from mid little river area with 5 fish that went 5.04!!! I went up the little river and only caught 3 fish but got 1st and big fish with 8.31 and big fish was 3.83.
The bigger fish don't seem to have moved up quite yet despite 68 degree water in the morning. The 3 fish I managed to boat were all in 12' of water on wood.
Were you the guy that had the big one early in the fog?
I was in a Green & White Stroker.
It was in the fog for sure!!! That was the worst fog I've seen in a long time. I caught it up near Big Hart...don't know if it was me or not. My big fish was in the fog too but up Little River above pump station. I was in a black dual console Stratos.
I only fished maybe half way up to the pump station, near the duck pond.
Totaled my last boat on the BIG stump in the middle of the channel near that ramp (near holiday park). (Broke my shoulder blade) Hit that stump at 73 mph. At that time it was 1" under the surface, and my nose cone centered it. It's still in that stump.
The newe GON (Ga. Outdoor News) has an article on fishing Clarks Hill in the grass.
Im thinking about going to Clark Hill this Sunday Nov. 7th. Does anybody have any recent reports. I've only visited the Hill once and put in at Amity. I would like to put in there again but will go wherever necessary. A little help would be appreciated.

If you put in at Amity, go up. You can get some on buzzbaits early, just the other side of the riprap, and some are schooling in the cut at the 1st island. They are hitting on top all hours, but 1st hour is by far the best.
Many thanks for information. I will definatly give it a shoot and let you know how I did.

Sorry guys I do not have a report as I did not go to Clark Hill last Sunday. I decided to take my eight year old instead. Unfortunatly, no fish were caught at Ft. Stewart, Pineview. But I think the cold front pretty much shut it down for a couple days.
Did anybody make it out this weekend.

It's off limits for me. I won't see it again till this Wednesday or Thursday.
Fished the hill today.. fish were scattered on wind blown rocky points. Water temps were around 60° most of the day. Caught 5 keepers with the biggest being 5lbs. Caught a few more short fish. All fish were caught on traps and plastics
