I have only been out one time for about 3 hours and so far no freeze up.

I've probably got 50+ hours at this point with no freezing. As frequently as it was happening for me I'm fairly confident the issue is resolved for me at least.
Good news, I was on the verge of requesting an upgrade to a 7608xsv... Wife would have divorced me, maybe a win win. LOL
